Arctic Circle 2017

Arctic Circle - Hringborð Norðurslóða fer fram í Hörpu 13. - 15. október í fimmta sinn. Dagskrá þingsins liggur fyrir á vefsíðu Arctic Circle, www.ArcticCircle.org. Ræðumenn verða um 600 talsins í yfir 135 málstofum. Um 2000 þátttakendur, frá rúmlega 50 löndum, sóttu þing Hringborðs Norðurslóða, sem haldið var í fyrra.

Svend Hardenberg, framkvæmdastjóri Mannvits í Grænlandi flytur erindi á laugardag kl. 11:20 í Björtuloftum, Hörpu á viðburði sem fjallar um áhrif vatnsaflsvirkjunarinnar á samfélagið í Ilulissat. Jafnframt stendur Landsvirkjun Power, ISTAK, EFLA, Verkís og Mannvit fyrir svokölluðum "plenary session" sem fram fer á sunnudag kl. 14-15:10 undir yfirskriftinni "Developing a society under extreme weather conditions - The Icelandic Example".
